I’ve had some great trips in the past the last day of February and even great days on April fools day, but never caught a red in March. Finally got that March skunk off the boat. Fish lots of structure, on the bottom, in coming tide (from 2 hours after incoming until slack). Minnows yielded one but mullet got the other plus missed 3 and had another break off all on mullet. Not sure of water temp due to depth finder biting the dust. Fish weren’t sluggish but nearly all hits were not in the shade (warm side of banks & structure).
Great day to take off and get some “me time”. Little windy but felt good.
