My name is Preston Doyle and I recently graduated from USC. I’ve lived on the water my whole life going off shore fishing out of Wrightsville Beach and Charleston. I am working to obtain my Captains License and am seeking any work or advice in the pursuit of my license. Any help Would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
My advice would be to enroll in law school or med school. Good luck in your pursuits.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

The days of making a living on the water are coming to an end. Ask any commercial fisherman
It can still be done may have to leave s.c. the owners here have deep pockets and very short arms. But you can get experience here.
If you’re serious about it look into South Florida or the Keys. Don’t worry about the naysayers. Some of them are just worried about competition.
