Another Canoe trip into the swamp yesterday. Took the Crossbow instead of a gun. Had this Doe and a small racked Buck come out of heavy cover just before dark. The Doe got close enough for a shot after about 10 minutes of waiting for her to present a broadside shot opportunity…so TWANG!!!
She’ll top off the freezer, so my last Buck tag is being saved incase something nice walks by.
