I had to work in Charleston this afternoon and dropped by to see Paul (SellsFish)and had not planned on it but when I saw the bushels of local oysters in his walk-in cooler, I took a sack. I was amazed at how salty and full they were to be so early in the year, seems like they get better as the water gets colder but these tasted like oysters I usually go out and get in february or so. Came home, dragged the cooker out in the drive way and popped up a folding table and (**() if I didn’t almost kill the bag
Now I remember why this is my favorite time of year.

Football season, oysters, and a break from the heat. This is by far the best time of the year to me too.
Fall in the South is the best season in the best part of the country. Hands down, no arguement.
- A bad day fishin’ is better than a good day at work!
- Why would anyone want to live anywhere besides the Lowcountry in South Carolina?
