Decided to try something new and hit cowpens this morning on the incoming tide. Put in at buck hall and made the ride up through casino creek. Once we hit the harbor we went straight across and set up a couple hundred yards to the left of the pier. A few other boats around and we all seemed to be doing anywhere from 8-20 depending on the pole. Made a few decent runs and it died. About 1/4 cooler. Decent mix of medium/large. Does anybody with experience there know if I was in or around the right spot? Was just winging it this morning. Never saw much current pushing through is that normal?
