First Time on Moultrie 23' CC

Can anyone give me some first timers advice on the best place to put the boat in the water on the lake? We are close to the hatchery and I am not sure if this would be a good place to start. We own a 230CC Tidewater and from what I understand the stump fields are more towards the canal and dike, not the open lake. We would like to take a trip from Moultrie through the diversion canal to Rocks Pond. Any advice?

Easyest way would be to put in a Blacks and go up the canal then follow the markers up the lake! Do you have a GPS? I don’t know if the route thru the woods is marked on your GPS Going thru Crappie Neck? Have a great trip!
