Went out at about 10a.m once it started warming up this morning… did not get anything until later in the day when the tide came in and ended up getting two reds at 27 & 25 inches both hit a purple DOA shrimp with a yellow tail while doing some stand up sight fishing on the flats… saw a lot of fish but most saw me before i saw them… and that paddle to rod swap killed me all afternoon… still getting used to fishing out of a yak but definitely appreciate how shallow it allows me to get.
