Dad came into town for new years and wanted to go fishing. We went to the nearshore reef to test the conditions and the water was perfect so we pushed up to capers. Did some looking around for structure as I had never been out there and there was a guy fishing. Didn’t want to pull right up next to him so after 45 mins of looking we found some structure. Ended up catching a couple keeper bsb a bunch of undersize ones and about 15 undersized sheep. Didn’t catch the giant convicts we were hoping for but had a fun day out with my dad. Thinking about trying the 60 Wednesday if the weather holds out.
Congrats on pushing out. The 60 is a little bit of a ride in a 18ft. Make sure the weather is good. Good luck.

turn right through dynamite hole and the 60 is only 30 minutes away on any day you should go there
Thanks for posting a report. What bait did you fish with, Natural?
Thanks for sharing. You may already be familiar, but if not, SC DNR has gps coordinates online for what appears to be every piece of structure they have sunk at each of the artificial reefs. Very handy if you have GPS/finder combo on your boat.
