First time salt fishing

I’ve been fly fishing most of my life, but most of it was in Wisconsin/Minnesota.

I moved to Charleston about a year ago, and haven’t gone out- yet.
Did take a charter and land a couple fat redfish, so I’m ready to get one on a fly.

Wondering were there are some easy access spots to wade? I’m nervous about pluff mud and oyster beds!!

I’d like to go after reds and trout… Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated.

I’ve got a 14ft mckee though, if that is a better/easier option.

That looks like a fish, only smaller.

low grass hard flat, tall grass soft mud, no grass hard or your swimming … thats a flats lesson. Shoot me a PM

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.
