Should work. I think I would have tied it with bead chain eyes or black plastic eyes or no eyes. The lead looks heavy. Nice tie. 
Yea, out of bead chain eyes but was itching to tie. Want to tie a “leslie” but missing some of the materials. Mayne tie it with some substitutes haha
Bucktail shrimp I kinda made up one day trying to attempt to male something similar to a sand flea for pompano. Looks more like a shrimp though.
Shrimp is very creative. And I’m guessing you want some ‘critique’ of these flies?
That shrimp could be deadly. I think I would have (and you still can) cut the bucktail back closer to the hook bend and let the flash extend out beyond the bucktail. That’s some long, long whiskers on that shrimp. Very cool though.
MB- Sweet, sweet ties. Creative, and I PROMISE- those will catch fish. Nice work. Another pro-tip for you- slightly mash the barbs down into “bumps”… works like a champ.

does it wobble? the eyes are supposed to “destabilize” it to help create the wobble. the tail stabilizes like on a kite. getting the right balance(or unbalance) so that it wobbles on the drop and retrieve has been the tricky part for me. its been fun trying to get something i can reproduce. looks good either way.
