Well, we headed out this morning from the ramp under 17 in north myrtle. Left around 8 because the bait shop didn’t open until 7 30. Rode out to the jetties. This is a diferent world from fresh water. The swells were several feet tall out past the jetties which made my boat feel tiny. We anchored at the s jetty and got several bites and only caught one shark. Then we fished a feeder creek mouth. No bites. Fished a total of about 4 hours. Using mud minnows on carolina rigs. Shrimp on bottom rigs. Going in the morning at low tide and see if that helps. We’re going to stay between 17 and little river. Might drift some. Need some advice before morning if anybodies got any.
Everybody I’ve ran into around here won’t give any advice.
And everybody I talked to on the water weren’t catching anything.
this thread is full of good info. check it out.

Used to fish the Little River area a bit, but am certainly no expert. Tomorrow morning should be much smoother than this morning. Go early and be rigged to cast to spanish on the surface at the jetties and just beyond (deadly dick, castmaster, gotcha, etc). Bring a cast net and try to get some smaller menhaden also. If you are there early enough, you should be able to drift the jetties (with those menhaden, or even mudminnows) and pick up flounder and maybe a redfish or two. Stay a little off the rocks and bump along the slope with a carolina rig. The inlet holds flounder too, so drifting there is not a bad idea. My 2 cents.
