I stopped by LowCountry Fly today and picked up some materials for some new flies…I’ll be giving those a try later this weekend…but first I wanted to try a spoon fly…I’m pretty happy with it although it definitely needs color…let me know what y’all think…
Those look good, unsure if they will achieve the spoon action but I bet a redfish will eat him anyways, I would like to try one, wanna trade a few flies before the next flood tide

I have some of these spoons. I was fishing them the other day and noticed that the action was really weak. Meaning that when I stripped the fly the spoon wasnt really rotating/spinnning, it was just simply being dragged. What kind of knot are you using to tie on most of these to the tippet?
I was sitting in the shop today and did one myself… yours came out much better I went back to tying what I know Good meeting ya!!
