First yak advise

I’m considering buying a new kayak and have been leaning towards the Hobie Pro Angler 14’ setup. My concerns are I have several fusions in my back and neck and have had shoulder replacements. I’m a basic mess but I can get around pretty good most days and would love to try this new adventure.

Comfort and convenience are my main concerns. I will need the ability to be able to stand up and stretch or stand and fish to relieve back spasms.

Thanks in advance for opinions and comments

The Pro Angler 14 is a very stable rig. The seat is also very comfortable and has a lot of adjustment. Have you thought about trying one out? Time Out Sports in Mount Pleasant has them for daily rental - I would take one out and demo it to see how your body handles it prior to dropping the $$$ on one.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the info. As soon as I get out of my current neck brace I’ll give Time Out a call and get something set up.
