made some tonight with a sour cream and dill sauce. A slight hint of basil really set the dish on fire.
Both the dill and basil were out of my garden and those were the first home grown ingredients I’ve gotten to use until the rest of the plants start to fruit.
I suggest ya’ll try doing the fish cake thing.

Stretch, that was a dam good idea… I just finished some fish cakes for dinner, with corn on the cob and zuchinni, I’ll be doing that again for sure.
I made a few variations, sauteed diced onion and bellpepper first, let that cool and mixed into the cakes, with diced dolphin, mayo, dijon mustard, cajun seasoning, fresh dill, garlic powder, regular bread crumbs. For breading dipped in flour, then egg wash, then panko bread crumbs. Pan-fried, seriously good eats.

the more I look at the fish cakes above the more I think you arranged them with subliminal ties to the new Angels & Demons movie or crop circles or…nevermind
