Anyone ever make curry at home. I love it out and am about to try it at home. Pro tips please. Sure wish Ole Hoppy was around.
I like curry, but curry with fish just doesn’t quite get there for me. I hope if you make it turns out great and you tell us about it!

The curried mahi recipe on this site is great and uses ingredients you typically always have. I’ve made it lots over the years. There is another really good shrimp curry recipe from the McClellanville Coast Cookbook that is fabulous for shrimp - has apples in it that I recall…
Curry is one of those things you either like or dislike. We love it, but just not too heavy as it’s a strong accompaniment.
Hey, anyone know if Hoppy is forever banned? I miss his contributions to this forum too.
We are going to make it with wahoo tonight. We have some relatives in town that lived in India for a couple of years. The husband fished the Maltives (not spelled right) and their cook made wahoo curry a lot. Thanks for the input ill give a full report. Off to the Asian store for some herbs-etc.

My sister makes a great curry fish soup/stew sorta thing, I tried making some and overdid the curry big time. Definitly have to watch the amount ya put in!

Only wish I had some wahoo! Those are kinda like YFT for us in that we’ve not caught any of those in years, either. I’m not complaining about loading up the freezers with mahi, but I do love some fresh wahoo! Got a good bit of gag and scamp grouper in the freezer from our trip on The Teaser last Sunday that I’d love to trade for some frozen wahoo not more then a month old if anyone is interested?
