Have a hummingbird piranha transducer, can I put lowrance elite 3x on it?
Not sure, but I doubt it will work.
Had to different hummingbird systems in a storage box, went to hook one of the transducers up they have the same connector, looked the same but the readings were way off or useless had to have the right model transducer for the head. I can’t see them crossing brands
Usually transducers are brand specific. Some companies like Airmar make transducers for other sonar OEMs.
When you get into really high dollar ones I think you can have networked sonar…but that’s a bit much on my 18 CC.
Definitely brand/unit specific. Give the guys a call at Lowrance. Replacement transducers aren’t that expensive.
