Scrawled or orange filefish hard to tell from the picture

Unicorn Filefish?? We caught 1 a few years back and that is what that pic looks like

The fish following the three unicorn filefish is an almaco jack, btw.

Yeah, the file fish was actually very good so I was told. I didn’t try it.

Yep, filefish…

Not sure about eating (or hooking them). They are skinnier than a $20 hooker on meth. I can’t imagine getting more than an ounce or two of meet from an adult. Also… We have had them at the aquarium, from time to time. They are “poop eaters” & bottom feeders. Seeing them on the surface is like finding a Gag on the surface. They must be lost! That can’t help the flavor.
