By the way, caught the endangered Black Sea Bass on every cast. Just a matter if you set the hook. This was the only other fish caught. Caught BSB’s until our arms were tired. Took a break and moved on for some variety and a chance for dinner!

I was out Friday at the jetties and we were catching BSB’s like crazy as well

Thanks all! My field guide doesn’t show the dark vertical bands but a quick search for pigfish on the net shows plenty with those markings. Can always count on cf.com!
