Fish ID

Can anyone ID this fish for me?

Puffer , toad , blow fish , several similar subspecies people call different names but most I think just call them Toads… Get someone that knows how to clean them , they’re good eating:sunglasses:

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Thanks for the ID and the great guide!

I know them as blowfish, tough to skin. we used to nail it to a tree and pull it off, like you do with an eel.
Really great taste. Chicken of the Sea.

“No… it’s okay, I know the way out…”

Yep, puffer. And yes, they are delicious. Looks like a chicken leg when cleaned correctly.

^^^This guy gets it^^^

God bless the “ignore” function.
