Candidate for post of the year and it is only Jan. 3.

I bet fishing in the rain once was more than enough for you. I hope you didn’t quit fishing over a little rain. Lol My rain suits not Frogg Togg. I just wanted to see who would jump and it didn’t take long. I was certain the flouro line would be the first target. The $30 dollar Coleman suit is 2 years in and I actually use and abuse gear. I let you know if the waders are worth a d by summer because I only have 3 trips in them so far so that’s not enough of a test but I just bought them at christmas and I need at least 30 trips with no manufacture defects to call them good though they are comfortable and dry.
But on topic I think this is the worst I’ve seen when it comes to cold weather. We need some one who fished in the 70s and 80s after those cold blast to let us know what a cold like this was like on the fishery.
Don’t know about “jump” but hey, if that makes you feel cool, have at it. I was simply implying I wasn’t happy with the quality of the Frogg Togg product. I didn’t ridicule you for using it or for your choice of product. Too bad others don’t extend that same courtesy. I’m sure you feel the same way.

I’m like Gerald’s tires and brakes over here… whhhhhheeeeee just having fun!!!
For real though. This storm could not have helped.

Saw a good bit of reds on the flat during high tide this morning. Near Bulls Bay. Hope that’s a good sign

If you don’t mind me asking, when you mean flat do you mean like a grass flat like tailing?

You better stop. Someone who doesnt have a dog in this wont like it.
This will be one of the worst kills in 50 plus years. Water temps in some major creeks will dip in the 30s.

When you have sharks freezing in Cape Cod and turtles and iguanas freezing in Florida, you know its cold.

Buddy just texted me that they are seeing dead trout up the wando.
Yeah this cold is much worse than anything I’ve seen in Charleston. This could be really bad.
