Fish Kill

in case yall missed it last night

anybody else see the chinese couple picking up the floaters to eat this weekend?

They were probably taking them back their restaurant for the seafood medley.

I buried about a 22" one Saturday at Sandy Beach. It wouldn’t go away, so had to get rid of it. That was the foulest thing I have smelled in a while.

I wonder if it’s the same ones you see almost every night at the towers. Also, I bet DNR would love to know about it as well.

Lol…I made that label up after seeing Mechanics first post and knowing I was eating Chinese today.

Anyone been out lately? Wondering if the ones that didn’t die off are still real deep or have they moved up in the water column?

Been working every day with a group of engineers here from Shanghai for about 1 1/2 weeks now, so I’ve been picking up a few words here and there.

Called DNR the other day and found out they can get a non-resident license just like any out of state US citizen by using their passport instead of a drivers license. May get a few of them out this weekend.

i was out sunday, they were still down deep. I have had a couple people tell me they saw some kind of fish schooling at the top of the water near the dam though.

I have swtiched to Freelines and weight less planer boards…bite isn’t on fire to say but it’s better than sitting in one spot looking at 100s of fish on te bottom that won’t eat. Got 5 yesterday evening and a 10-12# cat in a couple hrs. All fish were healthy and over 21"… sat night I trolled (2 downriggers and 2 lines out the back with a stretch and a Cisco kid). Not a bite on the downriggers, 7 fish (6 over 21) on the stretch and Cisco. Another 10 or so bites on them as well with no hook up.

Lol…YES!!! Please tell me he has this painted on the side…ha…

I was pulling my downrigger balls around 25-30’. Fish wouLD shoot up to them, hesitate, then continue up above them and hit the flat lines. Hope that helps.
