Started out hitting the area between Devaux bank and the beachfront of Botany Bay.
Northeast winds with incoming tide kicked up the rollers, which made the fishing not so much fun. Only lasted there a short while, since there wasn’t any action. Moved on to Oceallo creek. Less wind but still no fish. Continued on hitting four more spots along the N. Edisto with only a couple of bites. Finally, I gave up and headed back to our creek and decided to hit one more spot before quitting. It was a dock on our creek that has produced before. And sure enough, within 15 minutes, two reds (one keeper, 20 in). Minnows on a Carolina rig on the bottom.
Water temps were 83-85 degrees, East to NE winds supposedly 8-10 mph!. Should have stayed close to home and saved all of that spent gas!!
