Pushed through the harbor around 0530 took it easy on the way out. We cleared the jetties expecting tight conditions. Ran south towards the E banks @ 25. Lines in the water by 0730 first knock down cut the flat line 0800 in 150 ‘. Blackfin bite was going good for about 30mins with bonita mixed in. Ran back over some live bottom and managed a wahoo. Landed a sail on the Shot gun in about 170 ‘(safe release at the boat) Fished out towards 200’ with a water temp 71 and scattered weeds with a couple flyers out deep. 1/2 whoo, 1/2 bft, 1/1 bill ,lil tuny everywhere. All in all exciting day, seas sporty 3-4 8sec. Ride home was decent with the jetties greeting us home by 1530. Ill give us another week for the Mahi.
