Fish on half shell

A big thank you to whoever posted about redfish on the half shell! We tried it last night. Probably will never do it any other way. Brushed fillets with butter, garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne. Grilled scales and skin down for about 12 minutes with cover on grill. Conecuh sausage and squash. Great!

looks good!

If you haven’t already, you ought to try the thinner, spicy version of the conecuh sausage too (i think it is called hickory something instead of country smoked?) - they have it at publix on jimmy island. I love that stuff.

(**()… I never have scored the meat like that - great idea !!!

Looks wonderful, when my nephew would visit I would fix one whole redfish on the grill just for him,he loved it. Is that a Sabitie’ Knife?

good ideas here. not familiar with Conecuh, but given the quality of the rest of the input, I think i’ll add it to the JI publix list on the dry board today

The spicy one is awesome! My six year old prefers the original

I love the thin Conecuh, especially in gumbo.
