A wise man once told me regarding winter fishing, “If you think you are fishing slow, you probably not fishing slow enough, slow, slow, slow”. I haven’t actually fished in a couple of winters now but, I found that if I slowed down my retrieve waaay slow, my catch count did increase. Dave is certainly one of those wise men who’s advice I would heed.
