Yall are easy:smiley:

Roosterfish in Panama, Peacock Bass and Piranha in the Amazon, Barramundi in Australia…I done caught all the fish that live in the US, south of the Mason Dixon Line anyway.

stone crabs

Those are easy, just pole along the oyster banks at night with a spotlight and dip them up with a dip net. Break off one claw and throw the crab back in the river. Make sure it doesn’t bite you  Those scoundrels can bust open a big clam with one squeeze!! Not too hard to get a bucket full.

Hehe, I put that one on there because I have a couple pots soaking in the harbor right now that I dropped off this AM. Would be nice to pull up a few after this foul weather blows over

cobe, gag, phin- chronologically.

if a cast net counts, i got a poon. have hook and lined a juvenile snook in the harbor. don’t have a desire for a billfish at this point, would rather have more stone crab claws.

been spooled by a bonefish in venezuela on a tiny Krocodile spoon, caught piranha in the peruvian amazon with mono handline and grasshoppers.

Well my 2012 list includes

Sheepshead
Tarpon
Red otf

These are bucket list items too, but my fishing ‘bucket list’ is a mile long.

Im surprised no one called me out for saying that this is the “Inshore Discussion” Forum, and since I posted about wanting to catch some Offshore species, I should have posted this in the Offshore Discussuon or maybe just the Fishing Discussion forum. Where are the Internet Police? Do they only say “Nice Report” in the Inshore and Offshore reports section?

This is a great post! I guess my biggest wish for this year is a dang Cobia, don’t know what it is but I can not get one of them things to take my bait. Hopefully 2012 will be the year.

“Now I’m knee deep in the water somewhere, got the blue sky breeze blowin wind through my hair, only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair.”

“The good fisherman is surprised when he doesn’t catch fish: I am just the other way around.”
