was out on 11/29/11 last of the incoming and fished through the outgoing. hit the TNT, grillage numerous creeks and grass lines. not a touch. threw cut bait and artificals. not sure if the higher tides and fast current had anything to do with it? anyone have some advice to share? thanks in advance hope to catch um up next time.
Go fishing in a few days!!! The last four days with 7.5 tides is tough to catch fish!

yeah, over the ledge is dead on. tide changed about 7.5 feet yesterday during the cycle i was out. not good (well, i’m average… some of these guys i swear have gps beacons on the fish). also, end of incoming is tough; even on a tide that’s not so drastic. i only fished it yesterday due to having a 4 month old and have to fish with whatever tide gets thrown my way when able. good luck! last thing, try sheep soon. they’ll be stacking up and it’ll be the easiest sheep you ever caught.
New moon tides always are bad fishing days for me. They get super high and go out with a vengence. Best of luck to you on the next outing. November 3rd first moon .
Best fishing for me on the New Moon tides is deep in the grass where they usually cant get to on normal highs.
maybe I’ll have to get the yak out and get up in that grass. can’t get too shallow with my boat. it drafts about 3 ft.
