Headed out Sat toward Edisto Banks. My wife spotted a large peice of bamboo in 54’ of water. I pulled out the light spinning rods and a peice of shrimp and bam “Dolphin”. It was cover up with schoolies. We had a blast and left them biting. I had fish to clean so we headed back in. Left at 11am and back at the dock at 3pm.
Ended up keeping 9 and released a mystery fish. It is a mystery to me anyway. Looks like a cobia with a flat ribbed plate on its head.
Yep as people have said, thats a remora! They usually follow big sharks, rays, or cobes!! Fun to stick on your hand, boat, and as was said your buddies back!
