Got a bit of a late start this morning but was still able to get half minnow bucket of shrimp after only a few casts and had caught fiddlers the night before…so we were ready to go in no time. thunderclouds were gathering in all directions and we had to hide under a bridge at one point…but boy was the bite hot today! Lots of small trout with only a few being over 14 inchs as well as lots of little reds…and two big ones…one that donnie could not turn…saw it roll the water twicw and then it was gone. What we thought was plenty of bait quickly disappeared and we switched to grubs with zman copper penny paddle tails and the little greenies from Lehi seeming to do the best… caught a few sheephead and a monster lizard fish …man are those things U-G-L-Y!!! the bait snatchers ate well today too,nasty little varmits…
Well donnie and Roo decided payback was due and gave me a “birthday visor”…go ahead…laugh:clown_face:…funny thing is…donnie insisted in a pic and then he started laughing…I look down and Roo is chowing down on my sanwich!…Great day…on the water… a present that was perfect!
nahhh…most of those sailboats just sit there…folks dont live on them…then they sink…and the folks who own them seem to just walk away and leave their mess for someone else to clean up…I think they should pop them with heavy-heavy fines…, and recovery fee’s to get them out of there…

Its shocking to me that they don’t go after boat owners. Boats are registered & likely insured. Seems like a no brainer and a shame that someone can basically litter in our waters with a boat registered in their name.

Happy b day.I saw a thing on Fox news about the abandoned boats in Charleston’s waters. There are a few good businesses around town that are helping with removal cost of some boats. I just dont understand how some one can spend all that money on a boat and let it sink.
I’d rather be a free man in my grave than living as a puppet or a slave.
