Looks like my plan for next week is out but I do have tomorrow off… I was thinking about hitting the cosgrove bride and working up river towards a few creeks that I have wanted to check out… plan B will be back to bushy park to try and scare up some trout and reds… anyone wanna join me? Looking at launching around 0800 and catching the falling tide… gimme a hoot
Looks like it’ll be plan B… I drop off my daughter at school around 8 so between 0800 and 0830 I should be puttin in. As always it’s an open invitation to anyone with the day off.
I could meet you at either place a bit later… say around 2-3pm. To late to ask the boss for a vacation day. I like that area around cosgrove/ leeds a few hrs. before lowtide/ lowtide. You should see some fish if the water is clear and wind isn’t to bad.
Good luck and call me if you change your mind.
I gotta pick up the kids around 3-4, the youngest has a doc appointment or I’d be out there all day! I may try and get out to BP later after the wife gets home if theres still light. I’ll be pickin up my Tarpon 160 mid March. We’re heading up to NC to see my Dad and my brother is dropping it off… end of march I’ll be able to keep up with ya’ll… finally I am trying to arrange leave for the BARF though… we have a big inspection I have to go on, Alpina Michigan… I hope there is fish up there

There may be some fish there, but unless it is mid-July, the water will be a bit chilly compared to here. Catching a big pike on a yak would be fun though. I grew up in northern MI, and have some (limited) familiarity with that side of the state. Check the site listed below to find some rough maps of the lakes up that way.
