There were tarpon everywhere, literally everywhere… And I caught none. It was an incredible sight though. Snook are as dumb as reds, so there’s that.

At least you can eat Reds! Good size Snook!

Good catch Ricky! We saw several large Snook in the Weeki Wachee River last week but couldn’t get any takers. That was on Connor’s “list” but it wasn’t to be.

This is so epically beautiful its becoming part of my signature…your royalty checks will of course be in the mail at the first of every month. Preesh.

And I thought of you as we tore up fish on the non existent Florida dock lights…this particular guy had his own pet snook. Gotta love it.

Shakespear himself could not have written more poetic words…

Maybe a, (The POD’s Sayings and Wit Forum), should be started:question:

Some of the few pictures I got on the big camera while trying to dodge the storms.

Could have probably caught a 100 spanish, but we were after tarpon.

Dude, turn around, there are tarpon rolling behind you!!

Boca Grande Pass Light

And now the toying with anglers begins…

I might add a tower to my boat…I think its slick

They were everywhere for several hours. and we never hooked one

I’d rather have rattlesnakes than these guys for some reason…they creep me right out.

We don’t have docklights…South florida has docklights.

These were spooky fish though. It took 15lb test free lined into the dark side to get these fish. Wouldn’t mess with any baits in the light

Great pics, as usual.

Andrew Zimmer says those Chameleans are some good eating[:0]!

The lights on the docks to the left side of the little pass going out to the beach hold an unbelievable amount of snook when the tide is moving.

Rolling fish in the pass rarely eat.

Your pictures make me miss it down there

I’ve been in Boca for the Tarpon run, it is crazy. You could almost walk across the pass on boats. Great pics as usual Ricky!
