What a Wonderful day on the water today!
So hard to believe it’s almost November.
How blessed are we!
Took roo out in the boat again today…ok…i will admit it…it was a take penny out in the boat also:smiley:
Warm sunny sky, gentle breeze…calm water…and NO gnats 
Took Roo to the beach where she made two new pup friends and had such a good time.
She wuickly grew tired though sonit was a lift back to the boat and some lunch…then a long nap.
Lots of fish along the banks today…reds, black drum, trout, whiting, weak fish…plenty of annoying pin fish that are called that for a reason and my hands are now proof…even a foolish turtle who tried to steal my minnow!
Plenty of bait along the mudd flats and in drains…
Caught a mullet that looked like something almost caught him!
He gets another chance to live from.me too.
Caught 3 reds back to back between 25 and 28inchs…was also wore out after that.
Fish net broke at handle under weight of one…then snapped in the middle too:smiley:…made trying to net those soft mouth trout pretty challenging.
Fish werent picky today…
Cork and split shot…minnows,shrimp,even shrimp heads i brought along to dump.
Worn slap out…hurt all over…but a good hurt and happy heart for sure.
Tommorow will be 3 years since daddy passed…love and miss him so much…but always feel him with me…especially on days like today.
