Fishing and Leaving the Camera at the Ramp Video

July 28, 2018 - Headed out with Tommy to do a little fishn’ on the Wando. There’s a lot of bait in the water right now so we decided to try fishin’ with live bait. We started out throwing the cast net and loaded the bait well with shrimp and finger mullet. We stayed covered up with pinfish and bluefish. At the end of the day after we loaded the boat up we forgot the camera at the back of the truck and took off without it. When we got home we realized what happened and figured we would put a BOLO “Be On the Look Out” on “Charleston Boat Life” on Facebook. In a matter of seconds the camera was located and returned the next day! It is an amazing time that we live in. A special thanks to Mr. Gibbons and Chad Walton at Charleston Boat Life for helping to get the camera back! This little GoPro camera has been through a lot and keeps coming back. It survived a friend’s boat sinking and came back with the crew after being rescued by the Coast Guard https://youtu.be/KxIiN559Jms , traveled hundreds of miles across the ocean and keeps on recording.

Time well spent!

That Coast Guard rescue was wild. The keel on the Sea Pro looks like it just blew out. They are lucky it was a pretty nice day out there. Very cool to see the process start to finish… hopefully we don’t have to see it in person anytime soon.
