Fishing Copahee Sat

For the first time… High tide is around 12:30(5.8). Think I recall seeing suggestion to put in 2-3 hours b4 and be sure and be out no later than 2 hours after hi. From those with experience, is this correct?

Anyone else planning to fish it SAT?

Any pointers suggestions from you old pro’s?

I’m planning on fishing there either Saturday or very early Sunday.

If two wrongs don’t make a right, try three.

When you see mud below the oysters on the oyster mounds make tracks for the landing. Otherwise you’ll be there for an additional 3-4 hours.

Take way more liquid with you than you think you’ll need. I don’t launch in July / august with less than 3 liters of water and/or Gatorade

do any good?

I fished low tide Sunday evening. The water was bubbling with redfish on the last of the outgoing. But, they weren’t biting. I guess they were more concerned with getting to deeper water.

picked up one spec in the first creek to the left

Are any of you fishing the Copahee this Saturday? Would like to get my yak out. I assume the landing for this is the one on Gadsdenville Rd?
