I have tried the past two days hard for catfish in both the lake and cooper river using cut mullet, stink bait, and also shrimp. I haven’t even had a bite. Please any help will greatly be appreciated ! Getting very stressed not catching anything . Never had this happen before .

I’ve been fishing the river the last few days myself and the bite has been slow. I did however, manage to put a few in the boat. Try chicken livers wrapped in pantyhose or Sonny’s Super Sticky dip bait drifting in 25-30ft water.

Ok thanks for the tips. I had Sonnys with me but didn’t have any luck. Never tried chicken and pantyhose I will try it though. I never have been big into drift fishing maybe because i never really know how lol. U do that with a cork?

Snap swivel connected to a 3 way swivel with a short 50lb. leader and a 8/0 circle hook. Tie a 3oz. sinker on with 10-12 lb. line so if you get a snag you will hopefully only lose the sinker.
Bounce the rig along the bottom and through the deeper holes.

Catfishing this season has been quite rough. Then again haven’t been able to catch much of anything this season, so you’re not alone in this.
