We had a great couple of days fishing for the illusive king mackerel. Started the morning off with a screamer. 20 minutes later boated and release a 38lb cobia. We thought we had a winner king on the line. Strange feeling being disappointed by a great cobia. So we headed deeper to 90ft. We had good action and landed 4 kings none big enough for weighing. Saturday came around so we bypassed the shallow water and headed back to 90ft. Hooked up right away and landed an 8lb king. Next king on the line was a 22lb king. We trolled around and move to another spot and hooked up a nice sailfish lot of action. There is a thermocline at 30 feet and that seem to be the most productive depth for the kings. Great fishing beautiful ocean both days. Great crew Jason, Andy Eric and Alan. Thank you for putting the trip together.
