Everyone has His way for fishing for redfish.I will tell you what i do when i am alone and on the hunt.First of all i am alone and in no hurry to do anything.I first have plenty of bait for fishing and for chum.My rigs are set with two with carolina rigs 1oz and a 2 oz.A popping cork rigged at 3 feet with a DOA white and red head shrimp,One rod with a top water(Zara spook,Miro floater,Miro TT26).I hit the ICW and cut the motor off and drift.Searching both sides of the ICW looking for Birds,Loons diving, and most off all running bait.If i see a redfish push I mark the spot.At least i know what area to come back to.If I see more then one push i am home.I then ease up and drift in as close as possible to the area where i saw the push.I note the direction of the push.I set out 3 lines with cut crab, finger live or dead.I throw out some chum and wait. The trick is wait quiet.
Good luck see you at marker 55 ![]()

PS plese use only a 6 inch 20-30 pound leader on your carolina rig.The redfish does not care.
