I have a Tarpon 120 SOT and I am looking to purchased a 8ft Ripper by Wilderness Systems. I want it for the kids to play on the beach with while I am a little further out fishing in my kayak. My question is does any of you fish from a kayak that small (8ft)and is there advantages to it over my tarpon 120?. I have a delivery route to the coast every other week and a small boat like that would fit perfectly inside my van(company doesn’t want me running up and down the road looking like I am having fun!
