After seeing this post I’m glad I never cut myself on the boat when we’ve fished together. You probably would have just threw salt on it.

I never get how people say they wouldn’t want to retire because they would be bored. Fishing sounds much less boring than work. If I could, I would retire at 40 (February)

Relax Tim, after 39 years, not counting overtime and going full circle from the old Ma Bell AT&T to the new at&t, this is the answer to a prayer. I really believe there should be a retirement window from 40-60.

Wow…Pretty rare to hear someone been at the same company that long these days.
Best of luck in your retirement!!
Tom, I never could figure that out myself. They must be people who don’t fish.

Retirement has been great! But I wore my body out working all those years and now have health problems and havent been able to fish in months due to openheart surgury but hope im on the mend and hope to be beck on the lake soon. they put me on comadon and hope I dont freeze to death this winter!
All the vital parts appear to be fine but the back and several joints have suffered from decades of climbing poles and ladders. 80+ hr. workweeks have taken their toll as well. I have found that the motions involved in fishing are good therapy and salt air and water have amazing healing effects.
