I just sent a dove flying off my back porch up in Summerville, and he returned with a lump of sargassum.
So, if one is targeting reds and trout (or for that matter, largemouth and bluecats in freshwater), or even for mudfish/bowfin just for fun… anyone have any tips?
The only tip I actually have is that warmouth are often easy to catch in flood waters. I used to fish an 18 acre public “lake” as a teenager, and every time it would flood, the warmouth would pile up around the tree trunks. A can of worms would ensure you a tasty mess of warmouth before the day was out.
