I’ll be down in IOP during the week of March 10th, and I will be bringing my kayak down. Where are some good creeks or other places to take my kayak to target reds or pretty much anything else biting? I’ve surf fished IOP before, but that was in the summer when things for a little more productive. Thanks in advance for any advice given!
The creek that runs behind IOP and Sullivan’s (Conch Creek) has many docks and a long grass line with smaller creeks. Those docks and grass lines produce reds, trout and flounder. Be careful if you paddle across from IOP to Sullivan’s, the current at Breach Inlet can be ripping at times. I would try popping corks with live shrimp or artificial baits, artificial baits or my favorite, a mud minnow on a jighead.
If you feel like driving somewhere, Paradise Landing (the upper Wando) is a nice place to fish. Good luck.

Morgan Creek on backside of IOP can be productive. You can put in at the Morgan Creek Marina. If you have an anchor, anchor up near the bridge and cast as close to bridge pylons as you can.
Check tides. It can be a bear paddling back up the creek against the tide.
