Fishing jetties at MI

Looking at Google Maps there appears to be a dirt road from Country Road S 22-65 out to the jetties. Is is legal to drive and park at the end of this dirt road?

You can’t drive to either jetty. The road to the south jetty is Jetty Dr and ends in Hunting Beach Park near the beach about a mile from the jetty. The road to the north jetty is S Waccamaw Dr and there is a gate near 2020 S Waccamaw that only residents are allowed through. Follow the Rd S-22-65 north from the jetty and the gatehouse is in the wide place in the road. It’s hike on the beach either way.

I’d rather fish than eat.

A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

Take a wagon with you to carry all you stuff! A lot easyer than caring it on your back!

Thank you for the responses. That is what I thought but just wanted to make sure.

I fish the jetties at MI a few time every year. We go into Huntington Beach State Park and walk down the beach. I think it is 1.3 miles one way but its good exercise and we normally do pretty good.
