Phin unfortunatly that is incorrect. The bill is a very in depth re-write of our license laws to include the creation of a multi year license among many other clean ups. The intent is to eventually go to an “annual license” but this bill does not go that far. A one year license is simply how long the license lasts; 365 days. The date and the price (x3) remains the same guys; July 1st - June 30th. Review Section 1 item (B) at the front of the bill and it will let you know the dates. By the way, CCA SC had Campsen pre-file the bill with the intent of an “annual license” but there are currently too many obstacles in the way of an across the board “annual license”; none of which are political.
I think it would be good to do a fishing/hunting license like the drivers license,renew every 5years.Since the drivers license is 25.00 and we spend about that much on fishing/hunting combos why not do it the same.

Why people defend things that did not turn out as intended is what I’m not sure I’m familiar with all that much. Perhaps it is that they turned out exactly as someone intended afterall?
