Having never fished in-shore for anything at all, I am wondering what tackle set up I should use. Up to now I have only fished for bass (large and small mouth) in rivers and lakes. Any of you folks care to talk a bit about how you are set up, what size and action rods, reels, etc? Just an overall basic equipment list??

7 to 7 1/2 foot medium action rod, 2000 or 3000 reel, 15 to 20 lb braid, flouro leader, 2/0 circle hook for natural bait for reds and trout, kahle hook for flounder

Whew! Nice to know I’m not too far off! This stuff is right in line with what I have been using on the LMB!

yep - I used my inshore stuff last weekend on a bass lake. Felt good not to have to wash the salt off at the end of the day.
