Fishing Log Online/software

I want to do a better job this year at keeping a log of my fishing trips, so I’m looking for advice on a good Fishing log which is free or cheap. Tried Google search, was not impressed with the results. What works for you? A onlines service, or a package that I can put on my laptop.
Please point me to the discussion, if this has already been covered.

I have an excel spreadsheet. I named my columns etc. Time-tide, baits used , where and what i caught,i have records back to 1996. Its easy to check back after several years and be able to predict patterns etc

KW186 , many computers don’t have Microsoft Office installed (which has excel mentioned above) but you can get an open source FREE program one that does anything it will do is a free one called OpenOffice.org . It has spreadsheets and lots more , makes and opens PDF files , reads microsoft office files etc. here is where you can download it http://www.openoffice.org/

Google has docs files that you can use , if you have a google account which is also free

Thaks for the advice. I do have office, and was thinkig about creating an excell spredsheet, but figured I would check with the experts for something other.
Creating an excell file will give me something to work on until the weather turns warmer. I’ve already changed the line on my reels, and reorganized all my gear, so this will be good.
Thanks for the push to do it.

Google Maps gives me a visual
Excel gives me raw data, I think GoogleDocs would work
