June 2, 2019 - Fishing for mahi offshore on a cocaine-line instead of a weed-line. Little did we know that 50 kilos of cocaine worth $1 million was floating in the same water that we were fishing in. We never saw the cocaine but we found what looked like a life jacket from an airplane crash. We had multiple doubler headers everytime we trolled past it. We lost sight of the life jacket and the bite slowed down. We ended up with 10 in the box. We read about the cocaine in the news when we got back. Whoever found it, turned it in to the police. What would you do if you found 50 kilos of cocaine in the ocean while fishing?

We saw y’all at the Sunoco that morning we were the yellow seacraft. We ended up with 4 dolphin around 15 pounds and a bunch of good bottom fish. Was rough as hell heading out in the morning still made 25 comfortably.
