I am coming from North Charleston, and I would like to fish the harbor. What is the best place to put in at? Thanks for any help.
I bet my fish is bigger then yours…

I would probably say Duncan’s marina off of 526, forgot the new name of it now.

Is that in Mount Pleasant?

Generally cheaper to burn fuel in the truck vs. fuel in the boat. Put in as close to the harbor as you can – Remley’s is good. It’s in Mt. Pleasant near the base of the Cooper River Bridge.
If you want to cruise in the boat, Duncan’s is near 526, off of Leeds (Bridge View Rd, I think).
I think he’s talking about Rivers Edge Marina. That is adjacent to the County Farm Landing off Leeds Ave. That’s about a 20 minute run to the harbor and a safe parking lot.
Wappoo Cut Landing is closer to the Harbor but that is probably the busiest landing in Charleston.

I’d go with Remley Point first. Shem Creek isn’t bad if you get there early. Otherwise you’ll have to park in the shopping center.
Thank you for the suggestions, with there being a 5 mile an hour sw wind, would that be easy to fish?

Yup - it is cheaper to run to Mount P and put in at Shem or Remelys… but I’ve found Leeds to be the easiest ramp to put in at, and you will end up in the harbor about the same time. Wapoo cut just looks crazy… that current, the crowds…
