Pen, if that dog walked 20 yards off of your property without you... there would be an "Amber Alert". That dog don't need on tags.

‘Tags? My dog don’t have no tags. We don’t need no tags. "MY DOG DON’T NEEEEED TO SHOW YOU NO STINKING TAGS!!!’</font id=“size2”>

hahaha…you are right and Donnie would be selling off all my fishing stuff to raise the reward

Penny, I had an old dog that had all his tags on his collar. If I ever took it off him for a bath or some reason, he wanted it back on. He would walk over to it and nose it or paw it and look at me. If I didn’t pay any attention to him he would just sit down and wasn’t going anywhere until he had it back on. I think he felt necked without it! They each have their own personality!

Great pics. And that is a good looking pouch!

Thanks for sharing the pics… Makes me want to look closer at surroundings next time I go out

mr, Easy…Roo does the same thing. we have a place we put her collar at when it is off and she will go get it and bring it to us to put back on…and if we say we are going somewhere she runs and grabs it and comes hauling butt to where we are. she also gets donnies keys and/or one of our shoes if she already has her collar on and starts prancing around with them…crazzzy…but smart dog. please don’t tell Donnie I called her a dog

Tim…she adopted us one day when we went to the john ancrum spca looking at dogs. she never barked, stood up or moved…just sat there looking me directly in the eyes just as she is in the pic, it was a done deal. they say she is mostly basenji… she was seen hit by a car on the interstate. man brought her to vet.paid bills but couldn’t keep her. fostered until healed. collar, bandana, no tags or chip. very well trained very very smart. we were so blessed to get her. now if I could just get Donnie to quit dressing her up  glad to share the pics"_

How does that type of anchor work in choppy or windy conditions? Seems like a nice thing to have? Can you pole with it also? And where can I get one? Thank you

Thanks for the great pictures Penny, as always. Whenever my I tell my girlfriend that you posted another picture of Roo she steals the laptop from me. I’m sure all of the dog lovers of this forum would love it if you posted a collection of Roo’s greatest water dog pictures.

This is my girlfriend’s dog on his first time on the boat. He didn’t know what to do with the pin fish when he finally caught it. He held it in his mouth forever.

we used it one day when it was windy and with chop and it did just fine…that’s why I suggested getting the 10 foot rather than the 7 foot…gives you a little more sticking out of the water to grab without bending as well as wont get caught under bow or edge of boat that way. it does flex or bend a little as it is a little like the fiberglass shrimp poles…but even then it held strong wouldn’t use it as a push pole though…unless you had nothing else and just need to get going… name and number posted on page one as well as swap shop forum

jordanonayak…what a cute dog! I couldn’t begin to organize a collection of pics of roo…hahah…realized I have a lot more of her than of myself fishing… woke up last night and realized that she had come between Donnie and I…yep…she was dead cente rof the bed…curled up next to his back and pushing me off of my side with her outstretched feet:smiley:

I have a 10ft cajun anchor, same thing basically… I love it, use it way more than the anchor and it doesn’t break down like the powerpole I’m hearing more and more stories about leaks and electrical problems…

thinking about buying a second one so I can position the boat sideways against current if I want

I’ve had mine for a little over a year and have used it constantly, wind/water no issue at all unless you’re in real super soft bottom… then I just move a few feet over or push it in deeper…

love all your pictures and stories pen!

thanks

Love these anchors.

The great thing about these is that you can really feel what the bottom is like when you plunk em down.
