im on leave this week and plan on doing some fishing. when should i hit the water in-coming tide or out-going? fishing bushy or the ville if that helps.
tide does not matter at the ville. Just keep moving around and do not just try the grass.
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. </font id=“size2”>

i challenge the tides not being an issue.
especially this time of year.
i think you’ll find that dead low anywhere this time of year is best.
good luck.
Low tide make sit easier to find them schooled up but they are all over… they aren;t tailing so if you aren;t careful you’ll spook 'em lookin for 'em… Don’t btother with Bushy til the salinity come back up… it is the fresh/salt dividing line and after the rain like we got it is more fresh then salt… unless of course you want big blue cats then it’s chunk bait on the bottom and yer set… the ville is all salt so you’re set… I would say last 2 hours of a falling through first tow of a rising will be the best times to fish… Now be careful wiht a low at the ville… beat feet to the creek and come back in, if you are in the wrong spot you’ll be high and dry til it comes back in …

As long as the sun is out and the mud warms up they will be there. In the winter they still move into the grass to chase mullet and to hide from the dolphins that are back there. At low they are going to be easy to spot and you can follow them as the tide rises. I have seen schools of a couple hundred plus fish at low before they split into smaller pods on the rising tide.

Yeah man. Sorry, its been a very sad couple of days. I had to put my dog down. She gave me almost 14 years though and I will never forget her.

Condolences, our 16 yr old Silky Terrier, that we had to leave in Texas with my brother-in-law, had to be put down due to kidney failure last year. Kids were heartbroken when they heard the news. After time, they are both able to remember the happy times with their dog. She was a great companion for me, my wife, and our kids. Remember the the good times always!
