My best friend from Atlanta came down for the weekend and we fish the Wando. Water was clear and temp ranged from 70 to 74. Managed an inshore slam on Friday. Fished DOA, trout tricks and other soft plastics. Tried topwater Friday evening with a few blow ups but takers. The trout bite was slower than I would have anticipated. We had to work our soft plastics very slow to manage to get the trout to bite. My buddy actually caught 1 of the flounder on a bass spinner bait with a skirt which was kinda cool. Sent him home with a few fish and the rest were released to fight another day. Tight lines to all.
